Watsontown will be celebrating its 150th Anniversary as a Borough in 2017. Our Sesquicentennial Committee has been working diligently on a celebration that everyone can enjoy.
The festivities begin on Thursday, August 3, 2017 with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Watsontown Memorial Park followed by the Watsontown Ministry Vesper Service.
On Friday, August 4th, there will be Historic Walking Tours of Watsontown during the day & a Community Festival at Memorial Park in the evening.
Saturday, August 5th will be the gigantic Sesquicentennial Parade followed by festivities at Memorial Park.
Sunday, August 6th will be the Beard, Goatee & Mustache Contest & the Period Costume Contest; entertainment & festivities will continue & we will close with a fantastic fireworks display.
