Watsontown is a borough of about 2,255 residents located in Northumberland County, in central Pennsylvania. Situated along the West Branch of the Susquehanna River, the primary transportation route in the 1700's & 1800's, Watsontown grew as a transportation hub that spurred settlement & building of mills & businesses.  Today, Watsontown has historic homes, manufacturing enterprises & access to recreation along the Susquehanna River & forests of central Pennsylvania.

Brush Pick-Up

BRUSH PICK-UP:  August 14th & September 11th

The Borough crew will be picking up brush.  This service is intended to collect material generated from minor tree pruning & yard maintenance.  Hedge clippings, flower trimmings, etc. must be bagged and separate from the brush.  No grass clippings, sod or root balls.  Brush must be placed at the curb before 7 am on brush pick-up day.  No pickups will be done on our alleys.  Please make note of the above changes & dates.  Everyone’s cooperation is appreciated and allows this

valuable service to continue.
