Watsontown is a borough of about 2,255 residents located in Northumberland County, in central Pennsylvania. Situated along the West Branch of the Susquehanna River, the primary transportation route in the 1700's & 1800's, Watsontown grew as a transportation hub that spurred settlement & building of mills & businesses.  Today, Watsontown has historic homes, manufacturing enterprises & access to recreation along the Susquehanna River & forests of central Pennsylvania.

The Watsontown Planning Commission will soon be seeking your comments in the development of the Comprehensive Plan for the Watsontown community. Yard Debris
The Borough refuse contract indicates the use of a maximum 33 gallon garbage can. Just as with household trash, any yard waste MUST be in NO larger than a 32 gallon trash bag. Don't forget to purchase your stickers at the Borough Office.
